Viewing Restore Jobs' Status

You can quickly view the status of each restore job that is running or that completed within the past week, past month or past 90 days for a specific computer in the Restore tab on the Computer Information form.

The status display is dynamic, indicating the progress of the restore as updates are available.

To view the status of all restore jobs for a computer

  1. On the MyLiveVault Home page, the All Computers form lists all the computers on your company account. Click Backup/Restore in the Action column for the computer for which you want to view restore job status.

  2. On the Computer Information form, click the Restore tab.

  3. In the Restore Jobs section, the jobs that are active or that completed in the last week are shown by default. From the Restore Jobs (running or completed within n) list, select the time range for which you want to see restore jobs listed on this form:

    • one week

    • 30 days

    • 90 days

  4. For each restore job listed, you will see the following status information:

    • Its unique restore ID, followed by its name, for example (1-1F) Restore MyFile. The unique restore ID was assigned to the restore job by LiveVault Online Backup Service when the restore was requested. The name was assigned by the user who requested the restore. This is a link which you can click to view the details of the restore job.

    • Current status of the restore job, for example, Restore running or Restore shipped.

    • For an active Network restore job, its state information, for example, Estimate complete in <time>.

    • For an active Network restore job, a graphical progress bar.
