Defining Backup File Selection Rule Information

1. In the Path to include/exclude box, type the path of the files that you want to include or exclude from backup. You must type a full Windows path: volume, directory, and optionally a file pattern. You can specify a wildcard for a directory, and the file pattern can include wildcard characters.

2. Click either Include or Exclude to specify the type of rule.

3. To extend the scope of the rule to apply to files located within the specified directory and to files within all subdirectories below it, select the Include subdirectories check box.
