Changing Your MyLiveVault Password

When you are first added as a user for your company account, we e-mail a password to you. After you log in to MyLiveVault the first time, you can change your password in MyLiveVault at any time.

Note: You can only change your own password.

To change your password

If the User Information form is already open, skip to step 3.

  1. Click Users on the MyLiveVault menu bar.

  2. On the Users Management form, select your name from the list of users, and click Edit.

  3. On the User Information form, click Change Password.

  4. On the Change Password form, type your current password in the Current password box.

  5. Type your new password in the New password box.

Passwords are case-sensitive. For security purposes, asterisks are displayed as you type your password.

If your company is using the default MyLiveVault password security settings we recommend that your password be at least six characters, and include at least one letter and one number.

If your company has selected to enforce a more stringent password policy, your password may have to be a minimum of eight characters, and include at least one letter and at least one non-alphabetic character (such as a number).

  6. Type your new password again in the Re-enter new password box.

  7. Click Submit.
