Viewing a Restore Job's Details

  1. On the MyLiveVault Home page, the All Computers form lists all the computers on your company account. Click Backup/Restore in the Action column for the computer for which you want to view details of its restore job configuration and status.

  2. On the Computer Information form, click the Restore tab.

  3. In the Restore Jobs section, locate and click the restore ID and name link of the restore job for which you want to view details.

  4. On the Restore Details form, you can view the following information for the restore job:

    • Restore Status section indicating the current status of the restore job, including the following:

      • Current status, for example, Restore running or Restore complete. Number of errors: n. For a completed Network restore, the number of errors are indicated. The possible status is determined by the type of restore.

      • For a Network restore job, the amount of data being restored.

      • For a Network restore job, a graphical progress bar.

      • For a Network restore job, the restore state information, for example, Estimate complete in <time>.

    • For a Network restore, the restore job's log file path and filename. The log is located on the Agent computer that the files were restored to.

    • For a Network restore, the Bandwidth Usage chart indicating the amount of bandwidth being consumed for the restore job across time.

    • Files to Restore section displaying which files the restore job is to restore and not to restore. The file selection rules for the configuration are shown using the following format:

      • Include (restore this file) or Exclude (do not restore this file).

      • Path to restore or exclude from restore, including wildcards.

      • Whether to restore subdirectories.

    • Delivery section displaying how the data is to be delivered including:

      • Delivery method, for example, Delivering data over network, Shipping data on media, Best route (to be determined).

      • If applicable, the shipping information including the name and address of the person to whom the media is to be shipped.

      • Shipping method.

    • Details section displaying the restore job's history and restore options including:

      • Who created (or requested) the restore job.

      • When the restore job was created.

      • For a Media restore job, the type of media the restored data was shipped on.

      • For a Media restore job, when the media was shipped to the specified shipping address.

      • For a Network restore job, when the restore job completed.

      • Summary of the options specified for a restore, including:

        • Whether it is restoring current or historic file versions (as of the specified date and time). 

        • Whether deleted files are being restored.

        • For a Network restore job, the method selected for handling filename conflicts, for example, Auto-rename the existing file ().

        • For a Network restore job, whether the restored files were redirected to a different location.

        • For a Network restore job, the security descriptor restore option, for example, Restore original NTFS security descriptors.
