Enabling or Disabling Status Report Emails

LiveVault Online Backup Service can automatically email periodic status reports for a computer to the specified primary technical contact. The status reports contain performance and usage information for the time period specified by the email, for example:

  • Current amount of data protected.

  • Total amount of data transmitted for backup.

  • Average and peak backup bandwidth usage.

  • Total number of Internet and Media restores completed and shipped (respectively), and the total amount of data restored.

By default, the status reports are enabled for each computer, and are sent weekly. A separate report is emailed for each computer.

Note: The status report emails may not be offered by all service providers, or they may cover a different time period (for example, monthly). If your service provider does not make this offering available, then the option is not displayed in MyLiveVault. If you have any questions, contact Customer Service.
