Viewing a Backup Configuration's Status

You can quickly view the status of all backup configurations for a computer using the Backup tab on the Computer Information form. This form provides a summary of the backup status, organized by backup configuration, for a computer.

The status display is dynamic, indicating the progress of the initial synchronization then of the ongoing backup for each backup configuration.

To view a backup configuration's status

1. On the MyLiveVault Home page, the All Computers form lists all the computers on your company account. Click  Backup/Restore in the Action column for the computer whose backup configuration status you want to view.

2. On the Computer Information form, click the Backup tab.

3. In the Backup Configuration section, you will see the following information for each configuration:

   • Backup configuration name. This is a link which you can click to view the details of the configuration.

   • Current overall status of the backup configuration, for example, Initial synchronization or Backup operating normally.

   • Backup state information, for example, Estimate complete in 1 hour 23 minutes for an initial synchronization or Currently running.

   • Graphical progress bar if an initial synchronization is running.

   • Date and time of the most current backup version for this backup configuration, for example, Most current backup: 1/19/2004 1:42:17 PM GMT. This indicates the backup version that would be restored if you chose to restore current version.
