Deleting a Microsoft Exchange Backup Configuration
This procedure applies to LiveVault Online Backup Service Agent version 4.0 or later.
If you are
running an earlier Agent version, see Deleting
a Microsoft Exchange Backup Configuration (for version 3.6 or earlier).
You can delete a Microsoft Exchange backup configuration for a computer (for
example, if you are no longer running Exchange on this computer). When you
delete the configuration:
The Exchange backup configuration is removed from MyLiveVault.
If you are deleting an automatic full Exchange server
backup configuration, the Files and Directories backup configuration is retained, but it is
no longer automatically maintained by LiveVault Online Backup Service.
Some historical versions of the files and directories previously backed up
by that configuration are available for restore for some period of time.
However, not all historical versions remain available for the entire
retention period per the terms of the service.
Unless you specifically excluded these files and directories
from the computer's Files
and Directories backup configuration, these files will now be backed up by
that configuration.
However, the Files and Directories configuration does not treat files as a
group, so we will not guarantee the integrity of the Exchange application.
