Creating Database Backup Configurations
You should create a different database backup configuration to back up each
individual database on your computer. For each database, you need to select just
the related database files, and set a schedule indicating when that database
should be backed up.
Note: It is not necessary to exclude the database-related files from the
Files and Directories backup configuration.
To create a database backup configuration
On the Databases
Backup form, click New.
On the Computer Backup
form, type a name for the
database backup configuration in the Name of database box.
In the Files to Backup tab on the Computer Backup
form, specify the files and directories associated with the database or
application that you want to back up. You can use either of these methods to specify the files:
In the Schedule tab, create a
schedule for the backup configuration.
Click Save.
Review the information in the
Computer Backup form's Properties and
Specifications columns.
Do one of the following:
To configure additional database backup configurations,
repeat this procedure.
