Change Secret Question and Answer

Purpose

Use this Change Secret Question and Answer form to change your secret question and answer. You can change just your answer, or you can change both the question and answer.

To protect your data, we will use this secret question and answer to verify your identify in the event you forget your password or similar circumstance. If the need arises, we will ask you your secret question, and you must provide your secret answer.

We recommend that you provide a question and answer that other people will not likely know or be able to guess; something meaningful to you that you will be able to remember. Common questions include:

  • What is my mother's maiden name?

  • What are the last four digits of my social security number?

Fields and Buttons Descriptions

Field/Button Description
Secret question Displays your current secret question.

To change your secret question, type a new question. It can include:

  • Any characters, including letters, numbers, and symbols

  • A maximum of 255 characters.

New secret answer For additional security, your current answer is not displayed.

To change your answer, type the new answer to your secret question. This is displayed as you type. It can include:

  • Any characters, including letters, numbers, and symbols

  • A maximum of 255 characters.

Submit button Click to submit your changed secret question and/or answer. The previous User Information form opens so you can continue editing your user account information.
Cancel button Click to discard the secret question and answer changes, and return to the previous User Information form so you can continue editing your user account information. You current question and answer are still valid.
